    Description

I bought a house in Detroit 2016 and have had a loooong journey in fixing it up (also with the help of some Workawayers over the years!) I built a big garden, but then I left for two years to study in Germany. The garden needs so much help!

My goal is to build a perennial plant garden / mini food forest that is also a supportive social space based on permaculture principles. I also teach dance, am writing a Master's thesis, practice Thai massage, and work in experiential education.

  • Help

    Help

I welcome mostly help in the garden. Because I have so many perennials planted between the weeds, I cannot simply rent a tiller; I need to mostly weed by hand.

There are still some house projects, but those end up on the back burner depending on my outside workload.

Detroit is awesome! I have extra bicycles and I highly recommend exploring it. We've got good museums, interesting street art, and friendly, good people. Also if you want to learn to dance argentine tango, you can take my classes for free : )
