Help and learn at our community and house project while experiencing the Kaerntner mountains. Go for marvelous mountain trips and enjoy the most beautiful nature around us!
There are three people living here at the moment, Matthias, Veronika and our son Mikesch. Additionally our best friend Sebastian visits us sometimes.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
You can learn many craft skills from us, in the house and in the garden. We have also travelled a lot and stayed at different eco villages around Europe and the US. We'd like to integrate some of what we have learned there into our project, like Community building tools, dancing and making music together and having shared meals.
We also work with tech stuff (IT, media design) and can teach you something here if you are interested ;-)

Help
If you wanna get your hands dirty and help us in and around the house, you are more than welcome to join us for some weeks. We are always improving things in the house, the garden and our son is happy if someone will play with him. If you like cooking that's also great. Details of your help to be discussed.

Accommodation
In summer we can offer a tent or a sleeping place in our first class camper van, a warm shower and food. Also we can offer you a heated room in the house - but please note that the house is currently under renovation and therefore very basic and everything is a bit improvised. The surrounding nature is exceptionally beautiful and peaceful!
Please note that our home is an alcohol-free space. Thank you!
What else ...
We are surrounded by mountains (over 2000m high), beautiful springs and lots of hiking paths. Also you can go canoeing down in the valley. Also there is quite some mining history all around here. Our neighbor has a farm with horses, sheep and other animals that can be visited. Villach is only a 25 minutes ride from here (we have cars but there is also a bus going there) and we will go there about once a week.
