    Description

Living the dream up here on the mountain.
Simple Life based on humility and sustainability. Living close to Nature. Walking lightly etc. In my spare time I like to go in the back road and see which animals are out and about and I like to canoe and fish. I swim in the lake almost everyday. The garden is a nice place to hang out and even the chickens are good company. Little day adventures with my golden retrievers and eating well drinking well and listening to music. Always paying attention to the wild plants growing around me and harvesting and preparing them for consumption. A basic Homestead with a goal of living well.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

There's a lovely Cafe in our little town and the Silverton General Store is a great place for going online and hanging out in socializing.
Slocan lake is a beautiful glacier Lake. We have a canoe that you can use or share. Fishing is pretty good. We have hot springs. And a trip to Nelson is always fun. If you don't have a vehicle I could drive you. Or you could take a bus (very cheap) that runs several times a week . There are lots of hiking opportunities in this area. And there are hiking groups that you could join through Facebook for example.
