Description
Hi! We are a family of four living in the beautiful countryside of Monopoli, Puglia: my husband, our two daughters and me. We also have three funny cats.
I am a psychologist and an educator in training. Our eldest daughter is 7 years old and our youngest is 9 months old.
We are a warm, open-minded family and we enjoy spending time together, cooking, listening to music, dancing and having fun together, creating things and enjoying a simple family life.
Our home is in a peaceful and green area, but only a few minutes by car from the centre of Monopoli and from the sea and its beautiful beaches.
We are also in a very convenient location for exploring some of the most beautiful places in Puglia. Polignano a Mare, Alberobello and the Valle d’Itria are all within easy reach, as are many charming small towns, beaches and countryside landscapes.
It is a wonderful place for someone who wants to experience the authentic side of Puglia, living surrounded by olive trees and nature. It is also the perfect place for those looking for peace and quiet, authentic and wholesome Italian food, and simple, warm moments with a family.
A car is useful for getting around and discovering the area independently. -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We speak Italian and Portuguese, so there is a great opportunity to practice and exchange languages.
I am a very good cook and would be happy to share Italian and traditional Puglian recipes and cook together.
We would love to share our everyday family life, our culture and traditions. -
Help
The help would include light cleaning, tidying and organising the house, occasional deeper cleaning, and some simple cooking and meal preparation. I would also appreciate some help with our three cats and their everyday care.

Accommodation
You will stay in a large, bright and comfortable bedroom shared with our eldest daughter. The room has a bunk bed, with the double-size lower bed reserved for you, so you will have your own comfortable sleeping space.
I will take care of the grocery shopping and providing the food. We would simply ask you to share the moments of cooking and keeping the kitchen tidy with us, as part of our everyday family life. -
What else ...
We are looking for a responsible, reliable and easy-going person, comfortable with the everyday routines of a family and with some experience in household care, tidying, cooking and organising.
We would love someone who is independent, proactive, caring and patient, who enjoys being around children and animals and is happy to help as part of our family life.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone respectful, flexible and positive, who is open to sharing everyday life, meals, conversations and experiences with us. -
