Hello,
I am a lively 68-year-old woman who recently returned from Switzerland to France, where I lived and worked for 25 years with my husband, an iron sculpture artist. My new project is a small guest house for people who are looking for a place of tranquility, peace, and nature. I enjoy working with others, learning from others, and sharing my wealth of experience and knowledge... To turn the small house and his garden into a little paradise, I would like to invite Workawayers again. If you would like to live in the south for a while and help out, you are very welcome.

I would like to share with you my experience of cooking and preserving, using the wonderful selection of fresh fruit and vegetables available in this region to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I'm passionated about fermentation of vegetables... I speak German and fluent French, and it would be my pleasure to practice these languages with you. You can go hiking with me and discover new places, take advantage of the cultural offerings in the region, meet up with friends, or simply sit by the river with a book. I enjoy sharing my knowledge about gardening and working with iron.

Accommodation
During the renovation work at the Guesthouse, you will stay with me in my apartment in Bagnols-sur-Cèze, where you will have your own room and we will share the bathroom.
We will have lunch or dinner together once a day, and you can prepare the other meals yourself in my kitchen.
It is important to me that my Workaway guests are responsible and clean, do not use drugs, and do not smoke in the apartment.

The house is surrounded by vineyards, the river with beautiful swimming spots is very close by, and in Goudargues , 5 km away by bike there is a weekly market, restaurants and cafés. There is a bus service to the surrounding villages, Bagnols-sur-Cèze. Avignon and Marseille are major cultural cities, the sea is 120 km away from here. There are wonderful hiking trails in the surrounding area, you can taste wine, visite the grotte Chauvet , the Ardèche-valley and more....
