Description
Hi!My name is Marina and I live in Lucca. It is a lovely city close to Pisa and Florence , about 40 minutes from the seaside and very well located to organise a lot of wonderful trips in the nature too.
I consider myself very lucky as Tuscany is a wonderful region to explore and live!
My family is made of 3 : My husband Marco( 51), my son Massimo ( 9 years) and me(45).
Marco works full time and has his own business, while I work 35 hours/week and I work for a company not far from home.
We have a cat named Scarabocchio that lives outside and is pretty wild.
We have big families : I am 3rd in a family of 4 and Marco is 3rd in a family of 3.
Our relatives live not too far from us. We still have grandma (2 ) and 1 grandpa.

We can cook together our traditional italian dishes, do sport ( swimming pool is close to our home), ride bikes, stroll in the city center and visit local area.We are very interested in learning from a person that is proud of his/her origin and culture and is interesting in sharing it with us.
Our friends will welcome our aupair as a part of our family.
We hope to learn a fluent english and a way of looking things from other perspectives.

We are looking for an aupair that will help us during the summer period as my son's school closes from 10th June till 15th Sept and we need someone who can stay with him while we are out to work.
We mainly need help from 8:30 till 16:30 from Monday to Friday included.
During this hours we expect to have someone that loves interact with a lively child, speak english with him, play and assist him with his homework.We expect to find someone that can cook easy things for lunch ( plate of pasta).
We all would like to practise english as we would love to improve it ; especially Massimo ( my son) that is starting to study it and seems to has a natural gift for languages.
We are pleased to welcome a new person in our family to share experiences and culture,while learning from each other. We have a nice modern home and our aupair will have a private bedroom with an ensuite bathroom.We would like to organise trips to visit our area together and spend time together.
We love cooking and I would be happy to share my tips.
We love invite friends and organise many things with friends.
During summer we like to go on the beach during the weekend but also hiking in our area.
We have bikes and the city center is about 4 km from our home, so that it is reachable in less than 20 minutes ride.Train station is about 20 minutes from our home and bus stop is few minutes from home.

My son Massimo is 9 years and knows few words of english. We expect to find someone able to approach him in a friendly and lovely way, so that he will be interesting to interact and learn while play and do things together. My husband Marco has a beginner level but he is very brillant and wants to speak and communicate
Accommodation
Our house is a small modern villa with a garden. It is located in very quite area close to all kind of services( bar, supermarket,shops, bus stop, library ect)
Private bedroom with an ensuite bathroom will be dedicated to our aupair

The door is the bedroom goes directly in our garden
I love cooking so that I will do it for dinner and possibly something for lunch to leave to the aupair and Massimo. I expect the aupair to be able to make a plate of pasta or some simples plates for lunch
What else ...
Time off can be spent to visit our area that has plenty of activities : cultural visits (museums ) as Lucca is a medieval town , trips around Lucca like Pisa, Florence, Viareggio, Siena ect.
These cities are reachable by train and cheap buses in few hours.
Bus stop is at few minutes from home.
Bike can be used to reach many places in few minutes ( 20 minutes from ciycenter / 5 minutes supermarket/10 minutes swimmingpool, 3 minutes gym, 3 minutes shops)
Train station is 20 minutes ride from our house.
We will be pleased to spend our time with our aupair and organize experiences together during the weekend if she /he likes too.
We are an active and sporty family and we like to do many things, especially during summer.
