Description
Hello, we are a family of two. The kids have left and we are in tidying up mode. We have traveled a bit in our life. Alone, as family and recently just the two of us. We welcomed a number of travellers (couchsurfers, hitchhikers) in our days and have enjoyed that a lot. Russell is retired and I am hopeful to get going with my sewing course and both of us are trying to get house and section back into shape. We have already achieved a lot. A lot! And thanks to a lot of help it is looking good. Still ongoing maintenance to do and a number of painting jobs and other little projects.

We have a 2 storey house and our visitors stay on the bottom floor with a bathroom and toilet to share with whoever stays downstairs. It is up to you and fellow visitors to keep the area clean and tidy. One room has a single bed and the other one can have two singles but is also the library 🙃

So great that the originally planned 2 weeks turned into 6. We were treated like part of the family from the day we arrived, taken to parties and meals with friends. They have such a nice garden where they grow so much fruit and vegetables. Petra made so much delicious fresh food ( one of our… read more

I stayed with them for 2 weeks and time flew so fast. Petra and Russell gave me a warm welcome from the first day. They took us to various places and I really enjoyed it. I appreciate their kindness.
We wish both of you the best of luck for… read more
