  • Description

Hello! We are an adventurous young family living in a beautiful rural town nestled in the mountains of BC, where the Thompson and Fraser Rivers meet. We are passionate about this area and these rivers, as we work for Kumsheen Rafting Resort which offers world-class whitewater rafting trips and unique accommodation.
Our son is 18 months old, and he's following in our footsteps with his love for the outdoors. He's already been camping numerous times and has spent many days on the river with us.

From May-September, we have a team of fun, adventure-seeking employees who come from all over to spend their summer working at Kumsheen Rafting Resort. They spend their free time exploring BC, camping, kayaking, rock climbing, visiting local farms & vineyards, and so much more!

It's an amazing place to be, and we're inviting you to make it your home this season...

You'll have endless outdoor opportunities here, and free whitewater rafting is a perk of the job! Many people learn to kayak here - all you need is determination and we can round up the gear that you need.

Lytton is a place where you can learn a lot about the Nlaka'pamux culture, with many First Nations Bands in the area. The Stein Valley Heritage Park offers amazing hiking trails filled with historical, cultural & spiritual values.
The Thompson River is a very popular spot for dip-net fishing, so you are guaranteed to see the locals dip netting for salmon.

Once a week, you can visit the Lytton Farmer's Market where you'll find local produce, honey, jewellery, and baked goods like traditional bannock.

We will encourage you to explore when you're not helping us with childcare, and most likely you'll have friends at the resort who you can go exploring with. You'll always be welcome to join our family on outings like river trips, camping trips, beach hangouts, or out-of-town shopping.

There is no public transportation to/from Lytton, so you'll need access to a car. We will help you to arrange this any time it is needed.
