    Description

My name is Tatyana , and at 70 years old, my heart remains deeply rooted in this land. This project is the result of a lifelong journey of love and dedication to the Sierra Nevada.

Ten years ago, my husband passed away, but his spirit and legacy are present in every corner of this sanctuary. He was a man who lived with a profound respect for the Kogui culture, and he dedicated his life to ensuring that their traditions and wisdom were honored, protected, and shared with the world. Today, I continue that legacy with the same passion we shared.

For us, this is not just an eco-hotel; it is a mission. We work hand-in-hand with the local and indigenous communities to protect our environment and keep the Tairona history alive. I have seen this place grow from a dream into a recognized site for cultural preservation, and my goal is to ensure that every traveler who visits us leaves with a deeper understanding of why we must protect our indigenous cultures and the earth.

I am now supported by a young, creative team that helps me bring this vision into the modern world, but the soul of the project remains the same: Respect, Community, and Conservation. If you are looking for an experience that is meaningful and want to be part of a story that honors the past while building a sustainable future, you are very welcome here."

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Joining us is an invitation to step into a living classroom. We believe that a true exchange should leave you with more than just memories; it should leave you with new perspectives and skills.

    1. Ancestral Wisdom & History:
You will live on an authentic archaeological site. You’ll learn about the Tairona civilization, their architectural mastery, and the deep spiritual philosophy of the Kogui people. Understanding their 'Law of Origin' and their relationship with 'Mother Earth' (Aluna) often changes how our volunteers view the world.

    2. Real-World Sustainability:
You will gain hands-on experience in how a remote business operates in harmony with nature. From managing a hybrid solar energy system to understanding the logistics of a zero-waste philosophy in the jungle, you will see the challenges and triumphs of genuine ecotourism.

    3. Tropical Botany & Ethnobotany:
Our grounds are a botanical sanctuary. You can learn to identify native species, understand the medicinal uses of local plants, and see the journey of Cacao from the tree to the cup.

    4. Language & Community:
You will immerse yourself in the Spanish language and the warm, welcoming culture of the local community. You’ll learn that 'hospitality' here isn't just a service—it’s a way of sharing our home and our history."
