The Tamang are an indigenous group in Nepal, concentrated in the central hilly and Himalayan regions. Not a caste in the traditional Hindu sense. We speak both Tamang and Nepali language and can do a language exchange learning yours also. You can also learn about the local food, plants and animals and learn how we cook.

The Tamang practice Bonpo Shamanism and Varjayana Buddhism, we can connect you with opportunities to experience and learn.

You can meet and speak with local villagers with a great smile and enjoy the beautiful panorama mountain views east to west including Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Annapurna 1 and 2, Choyu, Sishapangma, Boudha Himal and Manasalu.
