Description
We are an international community of nuns who are living in the former convent of St. Clare in Senden near Münster since 2024. In our convent there is always a lot of work to be done in the garden and also in the house; so we are happy about any help in the house, garden and, if necessary, in our workshops.
We are also always ready to invite you to our prayer times, our Bible sharing or other activities of our life.

Wir sind eine internationale Gemeinschaft von Ordensschwestern, die seit 2024 im ehemaligen Klarissinnenkloster St. Klara in Senden bei Münster wohnen. In unserem Kloster gibt es immer viel Arbeit im Garten und auch im Haus einiges zu ordnen und zu putzen; so freuen wir uns über jede Hilfe im Haus, Garten und bei Bedarf auch in unseren Werkstätten.
Wir sind auch immer bereit, euch zu unseren Gebetszeiten, unserem Bibelaustausch oder anderen Aktivitäten unseres Lebens einzuladen.
Unsere freiwilligen Helfer können in unserem Gästebereich wohnen, der mit einer kleinen Küche, Esszimmer, Gemeinschaftsräumen, Badezimmer und einer Waschmaschine ausgestattet ist. -

We currently have sisters from 5 different countries and we are happy to welcome volunteers from all over the world. We are always ready to invite our volunteers to our prayer times, Bible sharing and other life activities and to exchange with them about questions of life and orientation.

Help
The work with us will mainly be helping in the garden, in our greenhouse, in our flower beds, mowing the lawn and weeding. We also need help in our large monastery, with cleaning, possibly also with painting and organizing rooms. And occasionally we will also need help to finish our handicraft products like soaps, jams, candles etc.

Accommodation
Our volunteers can stay in our guest area, which is equipped with a small kitchen, dining room, common rooms, bathroom and a washing machine. The rooms are single rooms; however, there are only two bathrooms in the corridor for our guests.
In our guest area there is a small kitchen where everything is available for self-service breakfast and dinner. For lunch we will provide meals for our guests in the guest area. -

During your time off you can easily enjoy the beautiful landscape around walking along the Dortmund-Ems-Kanal , visiting nearby castles or the town of Münster by bike or bus
