    Description

We're a lively family of 5 living in a bright, spacious house with a small garden — and yes, we have chickens and seasonal fruit growing out back! Our three kids (12, 13 and 15) are curious, love DIY projects and enjoy playing piano — our youngest also loves board games!

We've lived and worked across several countries — France, the Netherlands, and further afield — so we know what it means to be far from home and we love welcoming people into ours.

At home, we speak French, Dutch, English and Spanish, so conversations are rarely boring! During the week, we work and the kids go to school. Weekends are for family life: bike rides, visiting grandparents in the countryside, or catching up with friends.

We're looking for someone curious, open-minded and good with kids — someone who enjoys sharing, learning and living together, not just staying in a room.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

In exchange, we'll share our city and our life with you. Brussels is endlessly interesting — we'll give you local tips and hidden gems you won't find in any guidebook.

You'll have the chance to improve your French (or Dutch, or Spanish!) in a genuinely multilingual household. And thanks to our years living abroad, we understand the value of cultural exchange — we take it seriously and love it.

We'd love help with cooking (we enjoy discovering new recipes together!) and general housekeeping. The kids are keen to practice their English in real conversations — that's something we really value.

We're also open to other kinds of help depending on your skills — DIY, gardening, creative projects with the kids, you name it!

Our neighbourhood is quiet with a lovely park and shops just around the corner. The nearest bus stop is a 2-minute walk, the metro is less than 10 minutes on foot, and the city centre is 15–20 minutes away by public transport — or a quick 15-minute bike ride!
