Hello.
I am a kind, hard- working woman and love the possibilities and opportunities that Workaway brings. I have been a Workaway volunteer 3 times, and each time it confirms for me that it’s the most authentic way to stay in a country and be with local people.

My skills are both practical and creative: gardening, cutting flowers for bouquets (!), light carpentry, cleaning, painting, cooking, serving. I've worked in libraries, a gallery, restaurants, and managing a seasonal rental cottage.

I’m dependable, have a good sense of humor, and will pitch in where needed. I’m not afraid of hard work, and can work independently and as a team. I love meeting people of different cultures and ages, and want to improve/learn more languages beyond my native English.
I ‘m an American citizen, and also have Irish citizenship and passport. I can work or stay in the EU with Irish passport.

I have many different skills: strong attention to detail, working with people, excellent cooking and baking skills, working on computers, basic carpentry skills,painting, artistic and crafting skills, and gardening.. I'm an artist who uses power tools and a MIG welder. I've managed booking a small rental cottage and have worked as a waitress and in hospitality. I’ve always had dogs in my life and worked with one of my dogs as a therapy team at a local hospital.

I’m curious about other cultures and believe that we are always learning, whether through work or play. Workaway offers a way to experience other cultures and get to know people of all ages and cultures in a genuine way. My 3 Workaway experiences were very meaningful and fun.
