Hi!
I'm Michael, I love conversation and I've never failed an online "are you human" test. Always looking for travel buddies, free now. Our biography's out there, let's go!
Description
I'm an Eagle Scout from Minnesota, which gave me a great sense of adventure, so I've spent a lot of time out in the woods, on the water, and across the world. I live for caprice and I would love to get together with someone on travel plans this Autumn-Winter. I've been blessed with several Workaway experiences now; farm and community and companionship and so on, so what's your idea? Where to? Message me here, or find me on instagram @ captaincredo; I would love to meet you.
I am astounded by the broadness of life, each time I look out and see the horizon. There's an edge to this world beyond which I know not what lies and grows. New people, perspectives, facts, stories, the poetry of life; all to be encountered by stepping up and opening your mind to the world. It's a dangerous business, going out your door...

More details about your skills
I have been a counselor, chaplain, and program director for the nonprofit Boy Scouts of America for many years, teaching Communication, First Aid, Sailing, Plant Knowledge, Cinematography, Environmental Science, Society, and much more, to kids ages 6-17 years old.
I have been a prep cook specializing in soups and sauces, I have been a server and bartender and enjoy the people-facing side of things.
I have worked hospitality in hostels and hotels, camps, and the like doing everything from reservations to marketing to housekeeping.
I grew up in a family of 9 and have babysat, nannied, and taught for my own and other families since I can remember.
The thing which interests me most about a situation is what I can learn from it, and what general good I may be able to leave behind when my time comes. I have never left a job in bad graces and will happily provide references for anything, if required.
Age
27

What else ...
I'm a voracious reader, some of my favorite authors being Tolkien, Wodehouse, Austen, and Dumas. I'm an actor and a great film buff, and I could talk for ages about what makes a classic. Though I'm no great intellect, languages are a favorite study of mine; I like seeing what goes into them. I enjoy being outdoors in all sorts of environments. Let's talk!
