    Description

We are Kunuk (39), originally from Greenland, and have been living in Denmark for 18 years, and Aurelia (43), from Switzerland and Germany, who has been embracing the hyggeligt Danish life for the past four years.

And, of course, our family wouldn’t be complete without our two beloved furry companions – Nooqi, our playful White Swiss Shepherd, and Moka, our loyal Black German Shepherd. They bring so much joy to our lives and will surely love having you around! 🐾❤️

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Staying with us offers you the chance to experience a unique cultural mix. Our roots are Greenlandic Inuit and German-Swiss, and we love sharing our traditions, stories, and way of life.
Beyond our regular jobs, we are also shamanic practitioners. If you're interested, you are welcome to join a cacao ceremony and learn more about shamanism and spirituality. We enjoy exchanging knowledge and experiences in these areas and are happy to share what we have learned on our journey.
That being said, we are currently very busy with work and a big project, so our time is limited. However, whenever possible, we will gladly take time to connect, exchange, and learn from each other. We believe that cultural exchange is a two-way process, and we are always curious to hear about different perspectives, experiences, and traditions from our guests.
We are conscious, open-minded, and spiritual people who have found our own way of living. It’s important for us to welcome like-minded, open-hearted individuals who are curious and respectful of different cultures and perspectives.
If you are looking for a place where we can learn from each other, connect, and experience something new, we would love to share this journey with you!

Help Needed: Household (Urgent) & Additional Gardening/Painting Role
We are currently going through a very busy time, working on a big project alongside our regular jobs. That’s why we urgently need someone to help in the household and take care of our daily tasks.
    Household Support (Urgent)

    Your main tasks would include:
    • Taking the dogs out in the morning and feeding them
    • Preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner
    • Doing the laundry and keeping the house clean, including occasional deep cleaning if needed
    • Taking the dogs for a walk twice a day

In summary: We need help with household tasks and caring for our dogs. It may sound like a lot, but everything fits within a maximum of 5 working hours per day, 5 days a week. You’ll have breaks between tasks like meal preparation and walking the dogs, and of course, you will have weekends off.
We would love for you to stay at least three weeks or longer, and we truly appreciate someone who enjoys household tasks and does them with care and love.

    Separate Role: Gardening & Painting
In addition to household support, we are also looking for someone else to help in the garden and with painting the house from the outside.
    • Gardening could start around the end of March
    • Painting the house will be possible from April onwards, depending on the weather

Of course, it's always nice to share meals together, but who knows, you might enjoy our way of eating too.

The beach is within easy reach—just a 40-minute bike ride through beautiful landscapes or a quick 20-minute drive by car.
If you're in the mood for a change of pace and want to experience the energy of a bigger city, we can take you to the bus station. From there, it's only a 20-minute ride to Odense, the largest city on Funen, where you can explore its vibrant culture, shops, and historic sites.
To make getting around even easier, we also have electric bicycles available for you to use—perfect for discovering the surroundings at your own pace! 🚴‍♂️🌿
