  Hi, my name is Caitlin. I recently moved to a rural village one acre block and there are lots of little things I need help with - gardening and painting mostly, but if you have building and handy skills there are some other projects I would love to tackle with you. I am a conscious dance teacher, art therapist & artist. I love time in nature & wild places, good conversations, playing guitar, singing, dancing, making things & sharing good food with friends & loved ones.

  This is such a beautiful part of Australia, very peaceful, lots of birds. Federal is a very small village with a wonderful japanese cafe, another cafe and a general store, a child care centre and tennis court. It is known throughout the region for having a wonderful community.
  You could attend the local choir, table tennis group, pilates, yoga or chat with locals at the cafe.
  You can come with me to local Zouk, Contact Improvisation & 5Rhythms dance classes.
  You can learn with me about living in harmony with the land, the seasons & the elements.
  You would be welcome to join me for tea ceremony & meditation sessions if you wish.

  Help

  I am looking for help with gardening, weeding, maybe some planting and mulching. Also painting some rooms in the house, so attention to detail and some experience with painting would be great if you have it. I welcome anyone with building, construction or handy skills to help with some small building projects. Some cleaning help would be great too!

  You would be sharing my home. You have your own room with queen bed, and built in wardbrobe. We share the bathroom with bath & shower & toilet. I will provide 2 meals per week, unless we make some other arrangement. There is a great kitchen to cook for yourself, and laundry facilities. We are in a rural village in Australia so you need to be ok with some insects around, ants and spiders mostly (FYI I've never seen any dangerous spiders here). Water is filtered rainwater. Flushing toilets. Hot showers.

  What else ...

  It's tricky to get around without a vehicle here, there's only a few local buses that are not very convenient to use. I am happy to take you when I go into town (Mullumbimby mostly), or to events, such as to dance on Wed & Thurs nights. Most Saturdays I could drop you in Mullumbimby at 10am and bring you home again at 1pm. Sundays I could drop you at the beach at Brunswick Heads around 10am and bring you home at about 1pm. I am happy to do one or 2 extra trips per week to drop you off or pick you up from somewhere, but probably not many more than that.
  There is a weekday bus to Lismore at 8am that returns at about 3.30pm (one hour trip each way). Lismore is a big centre with supermarkets, department stores etc.
  Mullumbimby is a small town with cafes, chemists, supermarkets, clothing stores, pubs, restaurants etc etc
  Brunswick Heads is a beach suburb with cafes, pubs etc and a great beach and swimming spots.
