Description
🐓 Welcome to our Little Farm in British Columbia, Canada 🐴🌱
We are a young couple from Germany who moved to Canada 9 years ago to live our dream. Our place is in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature, with horses, chickens, dogs, cats and a big garden. Maybe we will have steers by the time you get here. We love a slower, more connected lifestyle and enjoy sharing it with people from around the world.
We’re looking for Workawayers who want to experience real Canadian farm life, enjoy being outdoors, and aren’t afraid to get their hands a little dirty.
Our farm is private. We do not sell anything to the public.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We love sharing stories, cooking together, and showing our Workawayers what life in rural Canada is like. Since we’re German ourselves, we understand what it’s like to come here, and we’re happy to help you improve your English

Help
Depending on the season, tasks may include:
• Picking and processing rhubarb in spring and early summer
• Berry picking (1–3 hours/day varying during season. The previous owners planted a lot of berries lol)
• Feeding and caring for chickens morning &/or evening)
• Help prepare meals (or if you love cooking, the kitchen is yours!)
• Lawn mowing, weed whacking, garden weeding and general yard work
• Helping with small projects around the farm and house
• Horse care – and if you have solid experience, there may be chances to ride and help with them 🐎
We don’t expect you to be an expert – just willing to learn and contribute.
