Description
Hello Fellow workawayers!
CURRENT UPDATE!
April 14th -20th seeking 1-4 volunteers to come assist with a bamboo merkaba meditation Shala ✨✨✨
May - July: Open to the right volunteers with the right intentions 🙏🏽
Currently seeking a volunteer(s) who would like to come offer English classes in my village for the month of May- June or July. Open to couples and friends as well. Classes could be just 2x per week, for both kids and adults. Prior teaching experience is desired but not necessary.
Also seeking volunteers who have interest in learning about bamboo construction, and whom have experience working in construction. Please send me your experience and we can speak about what the opportunity entails.
After years of volunteering and doing workaway all over the world (Colombia, Cambodia, Philippines, Brazil, Tasmania... so many wonderful humans have hosted me over the years and it would be a crime to not offer that back to the universe!!!
I now have decided to grow some roots here on a beautiful piece of land in the Osa Peninsula of the magnificent Costa Rica. I am a yoga teacher, Ayurvedic counselor, herbalist, WATAflow therapist, and an active travel guide for an international tour company. My intention is to create a healing space for myself and for others to come visit, to get in-touch with themselves and their true nature. I am not open and running yet, but I am in the final stages of making this dream come true.
ARTISTS with experience painting large murals welcome as well... I am open to designing some beautiful walls in the house and not just painting.
ALSO ALWAYS seeking help with permaculture, both design and execution. So many things... living on my own in the jungle means that there is always ways in which help can be received. Thank you for reading... Sending love and light, I hope you enjoy your time and have a beautiful experience volunteering in Costa Rica!Types of help and learning opportunities

I live in a small village that is around 300 people. If you are looking to practice your Spanish this is a wonderful opportunity as I am the only foreigner that resides here at the moment. There are often pick up soccer games in the afternoon, and the locals gather as well on Sundays for bingo, food and other fundraisers. It truly is a great example of a traditional Costa Rican village, and I feel so grateful to have been welcomed into it.
I also work with different healing modalities, and would be happy to share more with you as a volunteer if it aligns.Help
Hello Beautiful Souls... Thank you for taking the time to read this. I recently acquired a beautiful little piece of land and home next to Corcovado national park in the Osa Peninsula. I am looking for assistance in any and all projects, mostly focused on constructing a permaculture garden/food forest ( there is already so much growing but would love to have the assistance of someone who works with and knows plants better than I) as well as handyman for simple house projects like painting and some simple Eco-construction.
The property has a beautiful reforested area with multiple cacao, banana, papaya, mamon chino and other fruit trees. The property also has a healing temple space which is used for meditation, yoga, massage, teaching, and sharing of other medicines. The temple also has a sauna and steam room, with a plunge tub and outdoor shower. If you are a Massuse and looking to practice and share your skills please also reach out. I have a space at my house for massage and clients from nearby hotels.Languages

If you have experience teaching English, and would like to engage with an authentic Costa Rican community, my village would LOVE to have you teach classes 1 or 2x per week if you can stay for over a month.Accommodation
You would have your own room and bathroom. Brand new very good quality queen mattress as well :) If for some reason the room is not available because I have other visitors, You would be in a tent on a comfy twin bed, in a large covered space separate from the house but out of the rain, or you can sleep in the jungle on the new roofed platform that was built for massage therapy/ meditation! .
I will provide vegetarian food for you, breakfast and lunch. I am happy to cook or give you access to the kitchen to make your own meals. There are no resturants in town, or grocery stores, but transportation will be provided to the nearby village to get what is needed to make your stay comfortable. What else ...
There is endless hiking trails as well as MTB trails around. Nature observation is probably my favorite thing to partake in though. Birds, monkeys, and the occasional 4 legged creature can be spotted. There is a butterfly conservation down the road, and guided tours into the national park happen daily if that is something you would prefer.
I have MTN bikes that I rent to the guests that are here, and am happy to share them with you if they are free!
I dont drink alcohol, or smoke cigarattes and would ask that you as a volunteer also respected this rule. This home and space are tools for healing and connection to self through nature and alcohol disrupts that connection.A little more information
