Description
I'm living in an ancient rural farmstay (with 16 hectares) located in Turi, in Bari province, trying to develop a dream project (create a cultural hub for events, workshops, cultural exchange, natural practises etc.)
I'm spending this time restoring the main farmhouse and organizing events (mostly music events) into a welcoming place to live and to relax.
I'm really interested in art, photography and videomaking!Types of help and learning opportunities

Our place in particular is a very quiet spot of land near the main town. You will have the chance to relax, work in the wild nature, but also make parties, explore our region and if you want also be part of our family and friends.
You will join a very fascinating region of Italy that is a melting pot of influences, with a huge number of medieval towns and cities, museums and ancient ruins, a really interesting variety of different arts.
We can also show you hidden seaside spots: we are located mid-way between the Adriatic and Ionion coasts and we know fabulous beaches on the two seas (only know by local people!).
You will be glad to taste our typical italian food too, and we are quite good cooks! ;)Help
We are needing help to manage the renovation.
We did a lot of work like painting, cleaning, minor decorative repairs, but we always need help for the general maintenance of the house (help with the animals - dogs, cats).
The work will change depending on the priority and the season. As example during the summer season we are busy in harvesting cherries, but we also have wineyards. We also organize lots of events (mostly music events) and most of time there are activities connected to this!
We stared also an autosufficient vegetable garden project.
We really would like to host openminded people, kind, passionate, creative, with initiative and world caring.Languages

You will stay in one of our main rooms with a shared bathroom. The room will be shared with a maximum of 2/3 people (mixed).
We have a separate shared dining area with the kitchen and the living room.
You will have an outside terrace to relax. The place is really wide so you can always have some personal space in the nature around. We also have a farmyard with our animals.
If you want you can stay in your own tent or caravan, we have plenty of space outside of the main house!
We can let you use our car and we will take you at our secret sea spot in our free time, enjoying our company. What else ...

I stayed for exactly one month, and was alone at the masseria housesitting for about 20 of those days. I worked in the fields collecting cherrywood to be used as firewood from around 7/8 to 12:00 every week day. After lunch I was able to take the car and explore all of… read more
We loved this place in the nature and we liked to be free to decide what kind of work to do: general maintenance, separate waste (plastic, glass, paper …) feeding the three dogs and the cats, cooking.
We loved the “spaghetti alla carbonara”… read more
Gianmarco is a great person, chill and understanding, his friends became our friends too, the dogs and cats were so damn cute, and the masseria itself was a beautiful place to be!

They are very relaxed, friendly, and interesting people. We also loved meeting their friends on several occasions.
There are no fixed hours for work or meals but also no stress and lots of room for improvisation which is great.
The only thing that wasn't ideal for us was the room because it is… read more
