  Description

  Located in the north west on Tenerife (Los Silos), our finca and food forest is surrounded by stunning cliffs, wild nature and sea view. It's one of the greenest places on the island and feels super remote, even the village Los Silos is just 15min walk. It's the best place to take a short break from busy life and delve into substainable and nature living.
  
  We just arrived on the island and make that place to our new home. At the moment we building up infrastructure to host people and starting to reform the place and taking care of all the trees out there.
  
  We are committed to sustainable living and organic farming, growing a variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs using permaculture principles and want to make that place even more green and divers.
  We have plenty of Avocado trees, which give avocado all year around, mango trees, starfruit, strawberry-guava, kaki and a lot of other trees. All fruits and products grown on the land are for our own personal use only. We do not sell any produce and the finca is entirely non-commercial.
  
  We have two super sweet cats which are always asking to cuddle.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  This sourrounding is one of the best place to feel beeing part of the nature and take a short breaking from the ongoing world. The finca prrovides a lot of different exotic fruit trees - You can pick fruits from the trees for your daily breakfast and eat as much avocado as you like.
  We can teach you how to live off grid and show you there are not alot things you need to live. Also we are educated in permaculture methods and substainable living.
  We like to create a community of people which like to come again and again and enjoy this place and this environment with us and make it even better over time.
  The time is running with finca life and family, but if we have time and energy we doing sports like Yoga, Running, kind of Calisthenics, Surfing, paragliding. You can join if you want!

  Helping us with farming, reforming house and garden, household and cooking, language exchange, permaculture methods and helping living even more substainable.
  
  For the next few months (September to January 2026), we would be very happy to welcome people with knowledge and interest carpentry, brik and tile laying, house electricwork to help us finish the work on the main house.

  We speaking fluent German and English. Basic Spanish, but we like to improve it. German/Spanish or Englisch/Spanish tandem would be a good expierence for us.

  Accommodation

  For now we have two big big tents with headroom (3m high/14qm) for our volunteers and friends. They are super cozy, having real beds (good matresses and slatted frame) and provide space even for a whole family. You are sattled in the nature, with trees and singing birds around you.
  Depends on the works which need to be done and therefor the hours, we provide also meals which will be done by all of us. We are not yet self supporter in food but we always try to integrate the food we havest from the tress and plants.

  What else ...

  The property is big and has lost spaces for all kind of mind work for yourself. Also we have a small Yoga terasse with view on Los Silos and sea.
  The village Los Silos with shops and bus station are just 15min walk. Two amazing hikes just start in front of the finca and from there you can connect even to a lot different tours around the Teno Parknatural.
  The plaza (inner village) of Los Silos is pretty. It's a good place to hang out, drinking a coffee and enjoy the canarian way of living - Tranquilito!
  The seaside and surfspot (we have a beginner board) is only 5 min by car away from the finca (without about 20min). The charcos (natural pool) of Los Silos is good for taking a bath next to the waves.
