    Description

Hard to describe ;) we are a little co-housing community with 11 people (8 big ones and 3 small ones), 6 cows who work hard maintaining the biodiversity in their natural reserve, two horses who need daily care, a lazy dog, two funny cats, a bunch of chickens and a few thousand hard-working bees. Oh, and also two ducks walking around the garden and running behind everyone. We live in two old farmhouses, and we have a vegetable garden that always needs some care.

We love spending time together for dinner, activities, games, and nice chats, but we are also people with their own lives, jobs, children, activities, and duties. Therefore, it happens sometimes that everybody is busy with their own stuff, and we wish to welcome volunteers who have a certain sense of self-responsibility and initiative. Previous workawayers who liked this place were into community living and sharing, but could also spend some time alone and enjoy their autonomy.

  • Help

    Help

Our idea is that visitors help 4 - 5 h per day and that they benefit from what they learn at our place. We need help looking on repairing stables, constructing with wood, painting, looking after our cows and horses, repairing fences, rebuilding our shed and doing gardening. We like to find out your special skills and preferences and to look after possibilities where to make them as useful as possible around our project. We are looking for people who appreciate exchange of ideas, who are able to work responsible on their own and who like to work with their hands.

Many of our animals are running free in our garden and so do our little kids. Besides our dog might not always understand why to share her territory with another of her kind. Therefor we are not very open to volunteers traverling with animals but don´t hesitate to ask - maybe there is a possibility for an exception :)
