    Description

Hello and welcome to our home in the South of France!

I am a 71-year-old French mother and grandmother living in a lovely countryside house with my daughter, our dog and our cat. We enjoy a simple and peaceful lifestyle and love meeting people from different countries and cultures.

Our home is located in a beautiful rural setting, only 30 minutes from the Mediterranean Sea. We are about 2 km from shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants and bus connections. The charming medieval village of Roquebrune-sur-Argens is only 8 km away, while the seaside area of Les Issambres is about 20 km away. Buses make it easy to visit Fréjus, Saint-Raphaël, Cannes and Saint-Tropez (boat connection).

I enjoy reading, painting, gardening and playing bridge. I also play chess from time to time. I can communicate in English and would love to improve my speaking skills.
My daughter, who is 38 years old, lives with me and works during the day. She speaks fluent English and is currently learning Spanish. She has travelled extensively, including living in Australia, New Zealand, the United States and Canada. She loves travelling, meeting people from different cultures and enjoys water sports.
We both love sharing stories, travel experiences and conversations about the world.

    What we offer :
    - A private bedroom
    - Shared bathroom
    - Separate toilet
    - Wi-Fi
    - Access to the swimming pool
    - Breakfast, lunch and dinner included
    - A warm family atmosphere
    - The opportunity to discover the French Riviera and Provence

We are happy to host one Workawayer at a time between June and October for stays of one to two weeks (longer stays can be discussed).

    Tasks may include:
    - General gardening, weeding and garden maintenance
    - Painting projects
    - Small repairs and DIY jobs
    - Swimming pool maintenance
    - General help around the property
Some tasks can be physical, so a reasonably fit person with basic DIY skills would be ideal.

Who would enjoy staying with us?
Someone who enjoys outdoor work, appreciates a peaceful environment, is respectful and independent, and would like to experience authentic French family life.

If you are interested in cultural exchange, nature, good conversations, and discovering one of the most beautiful regions of France, we would be delighted to welcome you to our home.

We look forward to meeting you!

    Bacchus (10 months)

Our young cat Bacchus is full of life and curiosity! He runs everywhere, plays a lot and brings a lot of energy to the house. He is very gentle and affectionate, and sometimes comes for cuddles when he feels like it. We found him as a tiny kitten, alone in the vineyards, and rescued him. Since then, he has grown up with us and become a much-loved member of the family.

    Wolf (7 years)

Wolf is a very calm and adorable dog (Eurasier) who is extremely gentle and friendly. He enjoys being around the house, always relaxed and easygoing. He especially loves going for walks and will happily join you for peaceful strolls in the countryside if you like. He has a sweet nature and is a real part of our family.
