Jerry and Robin are some of the best people I've ever met and they will forever be family. The beauty of their remote ranch is breathtaking. The work/rest balance is perfect and they both encouraged me to work on the books I am writing while there.
For those seeking remote, off-grid living in comfort this is a paradise.
Watching the wild horses
… read more come in and interacting with the donkeys and chickens as well as the ranch kitty was such a joy. There was also time for exploring the area which is amazing and playing cards and listening to stories.
We miss you guys already but are excited to come back for a book party after the books are published:)You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Jerry and Robin will forever be family to us. We worked hard and played harder and the work was filled with amazing lessons that we learned. We can confidently say that we left there with more knowledge on building than we came in with. Aside from that, Jerry and Robin are just incredible people and writing this feedback is making us miss them
… read more right now. They're so kind and truly connect with you on a human to human basis that's lost in big city living. They were both so insightful and you can tell that living outside of the box has led to some deep understandings of life. Our conversations were REAL and again, you don't get much of that in the hustles of city life. Not only do I recommend them to anyone (who's willing to work and not just go use their space as a vacation area) but I am certain that we'll be back one day. The animals are incredible, the food is incredible, you're surrounded by nature and a loving environment.
Dear Jerry: I just saw a comment from like 2 years ago about someone playing 22 with you. Now I know why you're so good at it, you've probably been playing since the Reagan administration! We'll be back with a vengeance! You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Kevin was a great help here at the Ranch. He has depth in a lot of different skills. Things can be very hectic at the ranch (perhaps my fault), but having someone with depth of experience really helps to keep up with the ever changing tasks at hand. Hopefully Kevin will stop by again. He was very appreciated.

Combined with the remote location, original stone cabin, roaming wild-horses, and the history lessons from the area, I felt like I had stepped back in time. Fortunately, at the end of each day, there was a hot meal, hot showers (or hot springs tub), a card-game of twenty-two, and a real bed to sleep in. I enjoyed the work, the opportunities to
