Description
My name is Jeanine. I live on a large organic property nestled among beautiful gardens, small fruit orchards and beautiful forest, located in Lagrange/Pine Mountain, Georgia (a little over 1 hour south of Atlanta airport); and with that I have created a nice atmosphere for myself, my family and friends to have and enjoy. My daughters (all 3) have graduated and moved out, visiting often or when needing a getaway. This is a gorgeous place and well suited for someone that enjoys discovering countryside living in the US in a small town, surrounded by beauty and nature, yet fairly close to Atlanta. I recently moved from Atlanta and am maintaining and creating this new venture and would like to share my sanctuary for travelers or those looking for opportunities as I have many.
I am very easy going yet dedicated to my work and home and I am also very busy at times, as I also own a successful business. Accordingly, I work out of my home, and always in need of some extra hands to help with some general household chores, organic gardening, and some new building projects. As of right now, I have a few projects- yard maintenance and upkeep, help with animals on the property—chickens and cats, and small home projects: cleaning, organizing, decluttering, etc. Someone very handy or familiar with building and/or home repair, would be a huge plus. Also, getting ready to start my yearly organic spring garden, outdoor spring planting and general house maintenance. I could also use help with some light clearing of slightly overgrown wooded areas. Depending on availability, I provide very nice private garage apartment or a very large RV with 3 slide outs, private fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and king size bed. I am currently not able to offer meals, although we do have quite a bit of items in pantry, freezer and in the garden when it’s planted, that you’re welcome to use. You would be on your own and needed to cook your own food and also keep your accommodations clean. I am mostly vegetarian myself (raw food certified) and very health minded, but owned a restaurant for many years so have a strong passion for good healthy food. I also go on periodical juicing and fasting days but don’t expect you to do so-haha. If you are handy in the kitchen, sometimes I would love a hand in helping to prepare juices. I used to grow wheatgrass and sprouts and would love to incorporate that again as well.
During my free time, I enjoy meditation, yoga, natural medicine, holistic healing, gourmet raw and vegan food, hiking, biking, boating, snorkeling, swimming and reading. I am an avid traveler and love meeting people of different cultures. I would love to speak a second language (especially French-most of my family is fluent in French or also Spanish). I live in a rural area that doesn’t have direct public transportation, but has transportation (a couple miles away) to the Atlanta Airport, which has public transportation. We also go to Atlanta quite often and also to the coast of Florida, as we also have offices in those locations.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
I have traveled to many countries around the world and enjoy sharing my experiences in traveling, business operations, and holistic healing. I look forward to sharing and learning from one another.
We are an international family with a very fun yet busy lifestyle. It is a great mix of rural, city and coastal living mixed with work and leisure.
We are between the town of Pine Mountain (resort area next to Callaway Gardens) and Lagrange about an hour from Atlanta. We are also close to FDR State Park and Warm Springs. Atlanta has much to offer and see. -
Help
Tasks or hours can vary, but I would ask 20-25 hours a week for room and some board, meaning pantry stock staples like coffee, beans, rice, pasta, frozen items and garden items when available. You are always able to grow your own food and we have lots of seeds and varieties.
The tasks will vary, but can consist of organizational household projects, housecleaning, cleaning out of storage areas, closet re-vamping, re-organizing, and some occasional laundry. Also gardening during the season, yard help, planting, plant maintenance, and poolside sprucing, and sometimes project tasks ie planting gardens, looking after fruit trees and flowers and potting plants, pool furniture cleanup etc), and openness to any incoming handyman attention, building, carpentry etc. A plus if you are extremely organized and have a flair for decor. You must be comfortable with being able to be self sufficient at times when I am occupied with work and obligations. Most of all, I want you to enjoy your experience here and have some fun!! -

Depending on which accommodations are available, we have two types. Private, above-garage apartment with private bedroom, bath, kitchenette, laundry and entrance, that is separate from the main house. Or a 45 foot fully-equipped motor home with kitchen, large bedroom and two bathrooms. Laundry facilities available. On the property is large gym, with sauna, and scooter available to use.
