    Description

Hi. I am Sandra & I have Parkinson's Disease, which is treated naturally with fava beans and homemade tinctures. My husband DB and I live on an a 4.5 acre farm, that we are trying to make into permaculture food forest. Need help for 4 hours a day Monday thru Friday, weekends off. Meals provided. I am gluten-free , (but also make gluten sourdough bread for the rest of the family) We do eat venison, eggs, fish and occasionally organic chicken or turkey and lots of vegies. Workaway person or couple would have a private bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathroom .( This was made as a handicap apartment for a parent. It has a private entrance also). Laundry room shared with me and DB. Our dream is creating a farm flourishing with organically grown fruits, berries and vegetables. Workaway person would be helping with planting, weeding, mulching, digging, watering (manual labor), We play music at nursing homes and I use various puppets to play my mandolin to entertain them. Northeast TN is a wonderful place for hiking, kayaking (have 3 kayaks), music venues, and contra dancing, (although because of CoVid this has not happened in a year). There are also plays...if you like theater. Helpers must not use bad language, drinking , or smoking or drugs, no pets. We have outside cats, rabbits , muskovy ducks, hens in a chicken tractor (chicksaw) that we move daily. Now have 2 lamancha goats , We are a homestead, not a business. Would like to host fellow Christians. Please do not contact if you are not able to work outside 4 hours a day. We like to work 6:30 to 10:30 am while it is cooler or late evening in the hot summer. In winter , like to work afternoons when it is warmer.
