    Description

Greetings, we are Joonatan and Agnessa,an orthodox Christian couple from Finland.

We live challenging life in a middle of forest. I am a professional carpenter and have to spend whole day at work, but then I continue my work at home. My dear wife Agnessa is helping me. We try to do as much we can, so our day starts at 4 AM.

It's lot of work on our household, but we have a dream to build chasovnia or even a wooden church. I am able to do it on my own, but I don't have much time due my work. I really would need a HELPER(S)! I do these after my work day and the progress goes very slow. I can teach you building tricks, carpentry and how to work with wood!

We have a big garden land and some animals, with which we need a big help as well. Right now most of their diet goes with grains and hay we buy and it eats plenty of our not that big income, so our goal to grow enough of food for them and us for the upcoming winter. We are sharing with our volunteers all we grow, especially meat, milk and eggs are always fresh and you won't find anything like this in a supermarket store. My wife cooks meals and serving table approximately 3 times a day. In a hunting season there might be game on the table.

We are visiting church in Helsinki almost every Sunday, it takes 2 hours of driving and you can join our trip on your desire.

A large tree has been freshly cut and felled near a yellow house. Sawdust, tools, stumps, sheds, and grassy areas are visible around.
The image shows a bright, simple room with a single bed, colorful woven rugs, wooden furniture, a table, window with curtains, and natural light.
A person is constructing a wooden structure in a forest, attaching roof beams to the frame, surrounded by tall pine trees, rocks, and green moss.
A man with long brown hair and a thick, full beard is indoors. His mustache is styled upward. There are paintings and shelves in the background.
A group of chickens and a rooster stand on straw and snow in an outdoor pen, pecking the ground. Sunlight gently illuminates their feathers.
Two goats stand in a forested area. The goat in front has large horns and a rope around its neck, while the other grazes in the background.
