    Description

    Dear Wonderful Volunteers,

We are absolutely delighted to welcome you to our charming hotel and hostel, perfectly situated on the edge of the jungle between the lively towns of Quepos and Manuel Antonio. This is an exceptional opportunity for anyone eager to immerse themselves in the incredible biodiversity and natural beauty of Costa Rica! As a volunteer with us, you can look forward to encountering playful monkeys, enjoying breathtaking hikes to secluded beaches, and truly embracing the magic of this extraordinary region.

Our popular hotel and cozy hostel, located just a short seven-minute walk apart, take great pride in offering exceptional service to guests from all corners of the globe. During peak season, our establishment often reaches full capacity, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere packed with activities to keep you engaged! We believe in a wonderful balance of hard work and enjoyable experiences, so we wholeheartedly encourage you to share your unique talents and creative ideas with us—we are genuinely excited to see what you’ll bring to the table! Your typical volunteer tasks may include housekeeping, reception, laundry, painting, and gardening—there's something for everyone and every skill!

We kindly ask our volunteers to commit to five days a week, with shifts lasting either five or six hours (including a one-hour break for those on the five-hour shift). You’ll have two days off each week, and we aim to keep your time off consistent to help you make the most of your experience. A minimum commitment of four weeks is required, and we appreciate those who can stay longer, ensuring you have plenty of time to fully immerse yourself in this vibrant setting.

As a valued member of our volunteer family, you will enjoy some fantastic perks! These include hearty vegetarian meals, comfortable dorm. You will have round-the-clock access to our inviting pool, on-site laundry facilities, and possible discounts on exciting tours—all surrounded by the breathtaking backdrop of Costa Rica’s lush jungle! Rest assured, you will be well-fed with three satisfying meals each day. If you have cravings for extras like cheese or meat, those will be your responsibility to purchase.

Please note that we have both reception and housekeeping shifts. To excel in our reception role, a strong command of English and Spanish is essential, and additional languages such as German or French would be a wonderful asset! If you are currently learning English and/or Spanish, please don’t hesitate to apply; we still have opportunities available in housekeeping or general maintenance where your enthusiasm will shine.

A friendly reminder: our property is smoke-free and vape-free, but we do have a designated smoking area in the parking lot for those who need it.

If you feel a connection to this opportunity, we would love to learn more about you and your skills! We can’t wait to hear from you and embark on this exciting journey together!

Join us and experience the "Pura Vida" spirit of the Ticos!

We're excited to invite enthusiastic volunteers to join us in making our hotel even more welcoming! You'll have a variety of tasks to lend a hand with, such as housekeeping—like making beds and thoroughly cleaning rooms—and assisting at reception with check-ins and guest inquiries (English skills are a must). You can also help with laundry, general maintenance in our renovation areas, or beautifying our gardens. Plus, there may be opportunities in website development, marketing, social media, photography, and even art classes! • What else ...

    What else ...

During your free time, there’s an abundance of exciting activities and sights to explore! Just a quick 10-minute bus ride will take you to Manuel Antonio, where you can enjoy stunning beaches, delightful restaurants, and the renowned Manuel Antonio National Park. Right outside our property, adventurous hiking trails lead to Playa Matcha and other lovely spots. Plus, a short bus ride or leisurely walk will bring you to Quepos for any groceries or treats you might desire. The bus fare is very affordable and it only takes about 5-10 minutes to reach your destination. If you love hiking, we highly recommend discovering the nearby trails, which lead to a beautiful beach just a 30 or 40-minute trek away!

We’d love for our volunteers to dress comfortably and appropriately while on duty, and to help keep our shared kitchen and rooms tidy. Our space is a sanctuary where guests come to relax, unwind, and reconnect with nature – a peaceful retreat rather than a party venue. As a reminder, this is a non-smoking facility; if you smoke, kindly step outside and dispose of your butts in the trash. Happy exploring!
