    Description

    Dear Adventurer,

    WELCOME to our charming hotel and hostel, situated on the edge of the jungle between the lively towns of Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park. This is an exceptional opportunity for anyone eager to immerse themselves in the incredible biodiversity and natural beauty of Costa Rica! As a volunteer with us, you can look forward to encountering playful monkeys, enjoying breathtaking hikes to secluded beaches, and truly embracing the magic of this extraordinary region.

    Our popular hotel and cozy hostel (located just a short ten-minute walk apart) take great pride in offering exceptional service to guests from all corners of the globe. During peak season, our establishment often reaches full capacity, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere packed with activities to keep you engaged.

    We ask volunteers to commit to five days a week, with shifts lasting either five or six hours (including a one-hour break for those on the five-hour shift). You’ll have two days off each week, and we aim to keep your time off consistent to help you make the most of your experience. A minimum four week commitment is required (additional weeks are appreciate), ensuring you have plenty of time to immerse yourself in this vibrant setting.

    As a valued member of our volunteer family, you will enjoy some fantastic perks. These include:
    * Air-Conditioned Rooms.
    * Volunteer Kitchen.
    * Hearty Vegetarian Meals (3); extras (cheese, meat) purchased by volunteer.
    * Pools (2).
    * On-Site Laundry.
    * Tour Discounts (as arranged).

    If you feel a connection to this opportunity, we would love to learn more about you and your skills. We look forward to your response and this exciting journey together. Join us in the jungle!

    We believe in a balance of hard work and enjoyable experiences, so we wholeheartedly encourage you to share your unique talents and creative ideas with us. You'll have a variety of tasks to lend a hand with, such as:
    * Housekeeping: making beds, laundry and thoroughly cleaning rooms.
    * IT: maintaining hardware/software for Wi-Fi, computers, cellular phones
    * Maintenance: Basic maintenance of buildings (painting, plumbing, repairs) and beautifying our gardens.
    * Reception : Help with check-ins and guest inquiries (English skills are a must).
    * Social Media: promoting activities, events, special rates.

    Please note, work may be multitasked and/or rotated weekly. Your contributions will make a real difference, and we can't wait to see what you will do in the jungle.

    To excel in our reception role, a strong command of English and Spanish is essential, and additional languages such as German or French would be useful. If you are currently learning English and/or Spanish, please don’t hesitate to apply; we still have opportunities available in housekeeping or general maintenance.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

    Our cozy air-conditioned dorms have a shower and comfortably house 2 - 5 people. We also have a few private rooms perfect for couples. To make your stay convenient, we provide towels and bedding, along with laundry facilities on-site.

    Enjoy cooking in our dedicated volunteer kitchen, where you'll find plenty of vegetarian ingredients. If you crave meat or other specialties, feel free to explore local options.

    A friendly reminder: our property is smoke-free and vape-free, but we do have a designated smoking area in the parking lot.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

    During your free time, there’s an abundance of exciting activities and sights to explore! Just a quick 10-minute bus ride will take you to Manuel Antonio National Park, where you can enjoy stunning beaches, and delightful restaurants. Right outside our property, adventurous hiking trails lead to Playa La Macha and other scenic spots. Plus, a short bus ride or leisurely walk will bring you to Quepos for any groceries or treats you might desire. The bus fare is very affordable and it only takes about 5-10 minutes to reach your destination. If you love hiking, we highly recommend discovering the nearby trails, which lead to a string of beautiful beaches just a 30 or 40-minute trek away!

    We’d love for our volunteers to dress comfortably and appropriately while on duty, and to help keep our shared kitchen and rooms tidy. Our space is a sanctuary where guests come to relax, unwind, and reconnect with nature – a peaceful retreat rather than a party venue. Happy exploring!
