A red stone mosque and minaret are the signature landmarks of Aghbalou, the Ourika Valley's largest village, located some 47km southwest of Marrakesh. Most buses make a stop here, and from here to Oulmes the river is lined with cafes and restaurants.

On your days off you can hike in the beautiful Atlas moutains, visit the Setti Fatma waterfalls, enjoy a tea on the river, visit the weekly Souk, or take a taxi to see Marrakech (about an hour away). You are also welcome to join the canyoning and climbing activities.
