    Description

Our place is located 14 kilometers from Oaxaca, Mexico. We work with plants and various animals such as crocodiles, monkeys, dogs, rabbits, chickens, horses and others. It is a farm that rescues animals that are mistreated or cannot live in their natural environment.
The most important job is to take care of the animals and feed them. We also have construction work on fences and rooms for the new animals.

Here, they can find a quiet place, rooms and beds to sleep, water, electricity, gas and basic food such as rice and beans. It is also possible to put hammocks.

    Here you can:
    - Working with animals
    - Carry out or resume projects
    - Take care of the garden and plantations.
Sometimes we receive visits from schools to the farm and we organize workshops to raise awareness about disability and animal problems.

It could be nice to have person who have knowledge in veterinary medicine, construction or planting but it's not an obligation because here you can learn everything.

Here, beyond volunteering, you will also live a unique experience, in the heart of a very typical state in Mexico. You will meet people, you will learn many things. Here we try to create a family atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable. Hugo, the host of the estate, is someone full of life and always smiling. It will be a pleasure for him to teach you many things and spend quality moments with you.

Oaxaca Mexico is a territory with a temperate climate and cold nights. Bring a warm sleeping bag/blanket (if you don't have one we have one here).
Here there is no number of working hours, we will see together the missions to carry out and then you organize yourself as you want, depending on the weather, your wishes.

It would be good if people stayed at least two weeks to see the farm, meet the animals and create a bond with them.
If one or more people also want to stay long term (several months), that is also possible and would be great. We also need someone who would take care of the social medias of the farm. One volunteer stayed for a year and was able to create great projects and change things here.

Bonus: We would be very happy if you could bring the Flag of your country (normal size) to decorate the granja :)
