Description
Dear friends,
we thank everyone who is interested in our activities and helps us.
This is a non-profit project created to educate preschool and primary school children about ecology. Children receive information about permaculture at our events, and a lot of preparatory work needs to be done to make them happen regularly. A vegetable garden is a living organism that requires care every day.
To keep the vegetable garden in good condition, we invest a lot of our time and money, mostly working other jobs to earn money to invest in this project. Sometimes this can take us up to 12 hours a day in other places outside the garden, and during this period we do not have time to accept new volunteers and communicate freely. Therefore, we want to inform our volunteers, adults who want to come to us: when you decide to help us, it will be a lot of practical, sometimes quite simple and boring work, such as digging, picking up stones, etc. Conversations take place only during breakfast and dinner at the table, not during work. If you are primarily interested in learning about permaculture, you can choose any course you like from the Internet, we do not promote any of the schools. If you are interested in joining us and contributing to the development of our project, we would be grateful for physical assistance for 4 hours a day, or donations. Taking part in the work process, among other benefits, you will receive:

– being in the midst of nature, with a magnificent view of the mountains, close to the beautiful Montenegrin cities of Tivat, Kotor, Budva, as well as 4 km from the nearest beach.

We are looking for volunteers for seasonal work in the garden (digging, weeding, planting vegetables and fruits, harvesting) and for construction work (concrete, carpentry, locksmithing, landscaping and cleaning).

Accommodation
We provide overnight accommodation and 2 meals a day in exchange for 4 hours of help in the garden.
If you have your own tent or motorhome, you are always welcome too!
With campervans you can come here all year round, with tents - only when the weather conditions are good (we will confirm this in our first response to your request). For example, if you want to come and stay with tent for a week when it is forecast to deep rain, it will not make sense.

In your days off you can discover wonderful nature of Montenegro nearby, for example, go to Lovcen National Park, which is located about 20 kilometers away.
Important: our garden is dedicated for children, so it is a smoke-free zone. Therefore, we prefer not to invite smokers. But if you can abstain for the time you're here, then let's discuss details of your visit.

We spent one week at Andriys garden and recommend it to anyone who loves working outside.

We spend six days at Andrijs place. We helped out by weeding the garden or preparing food and cooking for everybody. We worked about 4 hours in the morning till noon.

Ich war fast zwei Wochen bei Andrij und es war wunderschön. Das arbeiten im Garten hat Spaß gemacht, trotz der Mücken :) Andreijs Deutsch ist jeden Tag besser geworden und wir hatten spannende Gespräche über seine Pläne im Garten und vieles mehr. Andrij ist eine herzensgute Person und hat mir viel geholfen.

Sarah and Marcus helped us a lot. Both of them are strong and were able to do work that is beyond the power of everyone. Marcus is great at grilling. Sara deliciously cooks vegetarian dishes. At dinners, we were able to interestingly talk about the lives of people in our countries.

Anna and Michal helped us a lot. They worked well every day. It is very important that they know the plants, and they can be assigned responsible areas of work. Very friendly and polite. Anna cooks Sicilian salad well. We will be happy to accept them again.
