Description

My name is Cagdas, I’m 32 years old and I’m from Turkey. For the past 10 years I worked in the IT field, but recently I decided to take a break from my professional career and focus on real life experiences, cultural exchange and practical work.

I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and creating welcoming environments. I have a lot of experience hosting travelers myself I hosted more than 150 guests through Couchsurfing and I’m also an Airbnb Superhost with many positive reviews. Because of this, I understand very well how important it is for guests to feel comfortable and welcome.

I’m a hands on person and I enjoy physical work. I have experience with building projects, fencing, basic electrical work, gardening and general maintenance. I built my own chicken coop from scratch and I’m comfortable using tools and working outdoors.

I love nature and whenever I can I spend time outside camping, hiking or working in gardens and rural environments. I’m easygoing, respectful and reliable in shared living situations, and I like helping where it’s needed.

Currently I’m looking for opportunities where I can contribute to hostels, farms, building or renovation projects, gardening or general help while meeting interesting people and learning new things along the way.

I’m a practical and hands on person who enjoys learning and working with tools. I have experience with a variety of physical and technical tasks.

I have worked on small construction and DIY projects such as building a chicken coop from scratch, installing fencing and doing general repair work. I’m comfortable using tools and helping with building, maintenance and renovation tasks.

I also have experience with basic electrical work, simple plumbing fixes and mechanical repairs. I enjoy solving practical problems and improving things around a property.

Gardening and outdoor work are also things I enjoy. I’m happy to help with garden maintenance, land work and general outdoor tasks.

In addition, I have experience in hospitality. I hosted more than 150 guests through Couchsurfing and I’m an Airbnb Superhost, so I understand guest communication, organization and keeping shared spaces clean and welcoming.

I can also help in the kitchen, I enjoy cooking and I’m especially good at preparing Turkish food and mezes.

I enjoy spending time outdoors and being active. Camping, hiking and exploring nature are things I really like whenever I have the chance.

I also enjoy cooking and sharing food with people. Preparing Turkish dishes and mezes is something I’m especially good at, and I’m always happy to cook and create social dinners together.

I like meeting people from different cultures, having good conversations and learning from others. At the same time I’m respectful of shared spaces and easy to live with.

In my free time I also enjoy fixing things, working with tools and improving small projects around the house or garden.
