Carole and Matt were amazing house sitters and cat sitters. We were traveling and they took care of the house and our two cats, the goldfish and the garden. They did everything on a way we asked, they observed and cared for little details too. Our communication was excellent and we had a worry-free journey. We felt special by their affection

Kevin and Ana were great workawayers. They took care of our house, cats, fishes and plants in the garden while we were away. The communication with them was excellent, they were always very responsive and they did a great care in our house. Our wild garden cats got tamed and now they are not so afraid of strangers, they improved their trust in
… read more human beings, which is fantastic. We can thank this to Kevin's great experience with animals.
They observed the house rules and handled everything with care. They left the place tidy and ready for the next workawayers.
We feel we became friends and I hope we will meet one day personally as well.

We loved our time at Eva's home. We unfortunately did not get to meet her personally as she was travelling and we were house minding. However we chatted a lot on video and got to know each other. She is very nice, likes to have a good chat and is very trusting. Whenever we had a question about sourcing something in the village or something about
… read more the house she quickly responded to us.
For the work: I had to feed the cat twice a day and the fishes once per day. I also just had to make sure the plants and the garden were in good shape, it was a pleasurable experience. The cats Tigi and Mimi are so so lovely (I miss them both) and get used to you soon and want cuddles and to sit on your lap. It's also lovely to see the fish see up to you when you go down to the lake.
The house is lovely too. Lots of artworks in every room, spacious and comfy spaces. I played lots of music here as there are instruments and there is also a space to paint and draw if you like.It is a great place to be if you like somewhere peaceful and tranquil where you can read, write or work.
The village is small but it has most of the necessities you will need like supermarkets, pharmacies, cafes even a small gym. It would be good to speak either Hungarian or Romanian to communicate with neighbors and the locals but you can get by with English. You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Daniella is a great person, we spent wonderful days together. She was flexible to join in our programs and in our daily routine, and she was always available when we needed some help. She took good care of everything in our house, she is a calm and cheerful person. Her "universe" is not the usual one, she has a quite unique selection of interests
… read more and activities in her life. We had great meals together and we played music together. She is very talented, just picks up a new instrument and starts playing it. She is happy to try new things, we did some drawing together too. She was kind and happy to converse with our family members, friends, neighbors, and children around us. We highly recommend her.Feedback
