Description
Hi everyone! We are a family with 4 children who choose to leave a big city and to start a new life in our eco house, close to the forest in Rasnov, a mountain area near Brasov. The house is build by us and it is made from straw bale, wood and cob and we live here for 7 years already. We start working also in the garden - permaculture. We are looking for volunteers to help us during the year. We can offer in exchange, camping place or caravans and local healthy - organic food.
We are 15 minutes away from Bran Castle (the famous Dracula's Castle) and 5 minutes from Rasnov Medieval Fortress. Brasov City is one of the biggest and beautiful city from the heart of Romania.Types of help and learning opportunities

We can make plans also for families with children because we are use to have a lot of kids around. It's a Dinosaur Park 10 minutes away, also an Adventure Park in Brasov. We can dress with medieval clothes and visit the local fortress. We can paint, cook, hiking, learning how to use an bow with arrows.
Between June and early August few festivals take places in Rasnov. Kids Mania, Historical Film festival, Medieval festival, Rock Music Festival.A little more information

I was really alone because I came later in the year.
They hosted me and made me feel at home!
To be honest, I was at a time when I couldn't help them as much as I would have liked, but I promised them I would come back in the summer to help them.
If they haven't answered you, it's because they don't want to… read more
