    Description

    Hello dear Workawayers!
We are Marco, Mathies and Eduarda!
We like to welcome 2 volunteers on board our sailing ship to help with general and ongoing maintenance. It's all about sanding and painting, carpentry, sail repairs, maintain the rigging, cleaning spaces like the engine room etc. Besides we all take care of the household, cooking cleaning, plant care etc.
We provide 3 meals day and usually you have your own private room.
We sail out once per week on average to enjoy boatlife even more than on anchor!
Many volunteers from all different sources and kind came before you, everyone with their own unique story to tell and knowledge to share.
On board it's always dynamic and with a good atmosphere. In the evenings we play often board and card games, talk, watch a movie on our fancy new projector😁 and just make it a great time in general. The area around is is full of interesting places to see and things to do. There are beautiful beaches with surf, active city life and in summer often a concert or festival just 5 minutes away. We got bicycles to go around.
So if you got 2 good working hands with a technical background, or you are a traveling carpenter or painter than don't hesitate to reach out, we always answer you back👍🏽
    Hope to hear from you!

You’ll have the opportunity to experience what it's like to live on a ship. A vessel like ours always requires care and attention, so maintenance is a continuous process—and you’ll get to learn some valuable skills along the way.
Besides we sailed the ship all around the world for the last 10 years, we got plenty stories to tell, and experiences to share

When we head out to sea, and if you're interested, I’d be happy to teach you everything about sailing, navigation, weather patterns, safety, tender driving, and more. With years of experience, I genuinely enjoy sharing my knowledge with eager and curious newcomers.

If this sounds like an adventure you’d love to be a part of, don’t hesitate to reach out! We look forward to hearing from you.

    Accommodation

The ship is 28 meters over all and has plenty space and everything on board. Besides all the safety and navigation systems: 2 toilets, 2 hot showers, heating system for the colder days, good beds (you will have your own cozy cabin), fully equipped kitchen, plenty water and electricity, sound system and even a movie projector. So don't think it's a sort of survival here, it's very comfy here on our own little island.
