Immersion within the local population will be total. Our team is made up of Senegalese and Belgians, and we are located in a very popular area. Coming here, you will also be totally immersed in the real life of talibé children (street children).

    --

Be careful, this is indeed a humanitarian project. :-)

We ask volunteers to participate in the smooth running of the structure.

There are several ways to do this:

    - Accompany our nurse in the field: give basic care to children (treat wounds,...)
    - Offer group activities for small (or larger) groups of children. --> There is equipment on site (board games, outdoor games...), but we are open to all proposals for activities according to your interests and skills.
    - To give literacy classes to young and old. Classes are offered for the little ones in the morning and a group of motivated teenagers/adults in the late afternoon.
    - Participate in the activities offered and supervise the groups (football match, music lessons,.....).

    Concerning the schedules:
The structure is open to children from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
It is difficult for us to give the exact schedules of the children. The children come to the centre during their "free time". This is why we ask volunteers to be present on site from Monday to Friday from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Namely that there may be slower periods (without children) which gives us time to prepare equipment or the following activities.

There is a break from 14:00 to 15:30 during which a meal is offered. Usually, we all eat together and take the time to drink tea. But you are free to leave the structure during this period if you wish.

    Weekends are completely free.

Our association is totally non-profit, our only objective is the well-being of the children.

    --
