Description
**We have space for ONE more Workaway who’s looking to join our rescue farm from start of March ***
We are a very positive and relaxed family of 5 living in Ballinadee West Cork on our family farm which we have turned into a rescue farm for animals. We are bubbly, fun and welcoming. We have various animals including Cows, Sheep, Donkeys, ponies , Goats, ducks, chickens, dogs, cats, alpacas.
We like to create a relaxed, chill environment on our farm and are looking for like minded people with the same
Attitude to life.
We would people who have interest and experience with animals and helping with building housing for animals etc …and other fun outdoor projects / people who love to be around animals and to get their hands dirty !!

Tasks include feeding animals, cleaning sheds, light DIY projects, we’re always building different things :) we are a lot fun, full of energy and at the weekends we hang out with friends camping, going to different pubs, there's always something fun going on.

Our home is surrounded by beautiful green fields, living close to 5 different beaches only 10 minutes away, village 2 minutes away, towns such as Kinsale and Bandon only 15 minutes away and 30 minutes from cork city. we have two spacious caravan's in a private area parked on the farm. Perfect for socializing and having your own privacy
What else ...
Typically we would ask someone to help with us maybe 4/5 hours a day, then at weekends and evenings they could do whatever they like. We usually have something fun planned with friends or family, weekends away or out in the city and you are more than welcome to join the more the merrier. We are quiet active, we swim run and go to the gym or go to the beach or meet friends, you definitely wont be bored if you choose to work and live with us :) our farm is not a business ☺️

It's remote area but there is a workaway car and a local bus infront of the house.
I only stayed there for two weeks but it was wonderful.

The work was different and very nice and Thomas was welcoming and kind with us like his family!
You'll meet Hattie (the cutest dog) and Soy (the little demon) but also all the other animals from the farm. They are so friendly!
