Help
PRESENTLY we looking for responsible couple who can assist us and who can stay here for at least three weeks during the low season (May - November). During the high season we are usually fully booked with tourists, so we will not be able to accommodate volunteers.
For the last few years, we have been participating in the coral recovery program, so my offer can be especially attractive for the volunteers who like sea life. Unfortunately, last year due to the heat wave most of our corals died. So, not much to do about them now but I still belive that we will start to plant new corals soon. Other than that, you are welcome to help us to clean the beach and keep the accommodation nice and tidy. There is also an active project to clean up trash on the island that they are welcome to join.
The cooking school is also nearby, so you can improve your cooking skills there. We have many customers from all over the world, so you are also welcome to socialize and improve their language skills. Additionally, there are some organic farms on the island that you can visit and help.
The place is managed by me and my Thai wife who is an animal lover. She spends about two hours every day preparing food for our 4 dogs and delivering it to the other 15 homeless dogs on the island everyday day. So, if you wish you can participate in this activity as well.
Please be aware that part of our envinromental tasks is keeping the beach clean. Sometimes you will have to work in the sun so you have to be ready and fit to do this kind of job.
Unfortunately, we have also had unpleasant experiences in the past with people who came here just to take advantage of free accommodation. These people treated helping us as a great sacrifice and it looks as if they didn't want to do anything with us or this place. So, if you are not an open-minded, honest, fit for an outdoor job, friendly, and communicative person don't apply. We don't want millennials here.Languages

Bungalow. Volunteers will be accommodated in a fan, sea view bungalow on the beach. Due to the limited possibility of accommodation, we would like to get two people (sleeping in one king-size bed) instead of a single person.

I stayed with Michal and Riam as a volunteer for two weeks, sharing accommodation with two other guys.
From the moment I met Michal, he gave me a great sense of calm, trust, and friendliness — and that’s exactly how he is. He and his wife Riam are lovely people, always kind and available.

Our stay at here was generally very satisfying.
The tasks assigned to us included helping with breakfast preparation, cleaning the bungalows, gardening (e.g., collecting leaves on the beach), and some DIY work. These tasks were varied and not too demanding. Riam and Michal were patient,… read more

The generous agreement is to work 3 hours (usually 8-11AM to avoid the hot sun) and then have the rest of the day free. This works well as you are given clear tasks every day and your free time is respected. The… read more

Riam, is super lovely and helps very hard and a lot so please be kind and help as much as you can. The tasks are super easy (cleaning the beach, bungalows, helping with laundry) and helping hours are very flexible.
We loved the whole stay,
