  Description

  We would love you to stay in our stunning log home near the Canadian Rockies
  
  This will be a unique volunteering experience surrounded by nature and wildlife. We would love for you to stay in our beautiful log home. You will have a private bedroom and share a washroom with 2 to 3 others dependent on the amount of volunteers. We are looking for a maximum of 4. We are located 20 minutes from Kananaskis national park, approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes from Banff (world class skiing) and 1 hour from Calgary.
  
  The property is located on a 60 acre ranch, with ponds and trails located through the property. The home is 10, 000 square feet with all the modern amenities including a gym, several fireplaces and lots of quiet spaces to relax.
  
  We are looking for a motivated, easy going Workawayers to help with general property maintenance like gardening, painting, organizing m repair projects. If you have any special skill sets that fantastic or you want to learn from one of team on ground for example equipment operating, welding we are happy to teach you.
  
  There are no special skills required we are just looking for someone with willingness to help.
  
  
  
  We will provide food and transportation to any of the activities or sightseeing / exploring you would like to do.

  Our Ranch is very peaceful area from the hustle and bustle of the city located in the heart of Kananaskis. We are a family run operation that loves our community our community, nature , entertaining and sharing knowledge about different cultures from around the world. On occasion we also host wellness retreats and would really like to do more of that.
  
  As a volunteer you will help with the garden, help out with small building projects, learn skills from our team members and we will offer a true cultural exchange.
  
  We want to share our way of life, local traditions of our area and share stories. We are excited to learn about your culture, share recipes and learn some words in your language. We can promise that every day will bring something new.
  
  This promises to be a chance to learn new skills, enjoy cozy evenings around the fire, explore the beautiful rocky mountains while staying in a warm, welcoming environment.
  
  You will come as a visitor and leave as a lifelong friend.

  We’re seeking motivated, easy-going volunteers to help with:
  
  General property maintenance (gardening, painting, organizing, etc.)
  
  Small building/repair projects
  
  Occasional help indoors (cleaning, light organizing)
  
  No special skills required — just a positive attitude and willingness to help
  
  There are also team member who are on site that have specialized skills who would be happy to train you in anything you are interested in learning .

  I would love to learn spanish as i have a basis with knowing the french language, however i have an interest in several languages like arabic, mandarin and many more.

  Accommodation

  Our home is a 10, 000 square foot log home with several different spaces wether you want to sit in a gathering space and spend time with others or have your alone time in your own private space. There is a gym, office, several fireplaces and a large deck you can view wild life from . There are several out buildings including equimpent sheds, large riding arena, small cabins and meditation huts.

  Just 1 hour and 15 minutes from Banff National Park (world-class skiing, hiking, and sightseeing) and only 1 hour from Calgary, and so much more to see. We will be happy to provide you with transportation to the endless places you can explore.
