Hello!
My name is Rolands. I live in Riga with my girlfriend and spend time mostly alone or with friends in the countryside.
A special living space for people who will appreciate it – newly renovated. The apartments are well-furnished with all amenities in a manor-style building.
Each apartment has access to a garden surrounded by an apple orchard, a birch grove with dome tents, and centuries-old oak trees. A place to enjoy peaceful living, work remotely in quiet, and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Located about an hour’s drive from Riga, 15-20 minutes from Bauska, and 3.5 km from the nearest store, with a bus stop right at the house. There is also a private sports field for football, volleyball, and basketball, along with outdoor exercise equipment. See the attached images for more details.
We warmly welcome people who will appreciate the uniqueness of this place, its tranquil atmosphere, and the magic of nature. There is a special fenced area with a playground for children. The place is also pet-friendly. Feel free to come for a walk anytime to explore – you’ll be alone with the park and the songs of the birds.

Visit the historical Rundāle Palace, a significant baroque landmark. Rundāle Palace (Latvian: Rundāles pils; German: Schloss Ruhental) is one of two major baroque palaces built for the Dukes of Courland in present-day Latvia, alongside Jelgava Palace. Just 12 km west of Bauska.
Enjoy water tourism activities, with opportunities for boating and other water-based experiences. There are also vibrant local festivals to explore, including an ethnographic fete and a country music festival, celebrating the region's rich traditions. And nature of course!
Savor typical Latvian and Lithuanian cuisine at local restaurants, offering a taste of both cultures. On weekends, venture to the spectacular historical city of Riga, especially Old Riga, to immerse yourself in its architectural beauty and rich history.

Help
The role involves working 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week, with flexibility depending on the season, weather, and your preferred schedule. Tasks include gardening, mowing the grass, light house maintenance (such as painting), and occasional cooking. Ideal candidates will have a green thumb and an appreciation for nature, while artistic skills or a passion for cooking diverse cuisines would be a great bonus.
*There is a possibility to house-sit during the winter period.
