Description
We welcome you to our sustainable land in the breathtaking valley of Colliguay, located just one hour from Quilpué in the Valparaiso region. Surrounded by a biosphere reserve of flora and fauna in a semi-arid environment, our home is a haven for nature lovers. We have been living on this land for many years and have made it our mission to protect and preserve the environment through various projects. We are a couple who live and work on this land.
Join us and develop your woodworking skills in a supportive and creative atmosphere. We are seeking individuals to help with wood sculptures and other art projects, using traditional and modern techniques. The wood work is related to creating productive activity within the valley that will enhance the protection and growth of the existing forest as a sustainable resource. The help is about making sculptures from dead native trees using basic hand tools and electrical equipment. Activities such as forest management and tree planting is included.
One thing we ensure is that you get to know and participate within the community and the envoirment. Examples could be productivity like spinning and weaving, honey production, crops, trekking and horse back riding. You will have your own room and be served wholesome ayurvedic food along with traditional Chilean dishes.
Internet access is very poor but we have plenty of books!
