Hello, I’m Jelena,
I’m 27 years old and from Germany. I’m really excited and curious about all the people and places I’ll connect with through Workaway, as well as the experiences I can gain along the way. I just finished my studies to become a social worker, and I’m now ready to continue my journey, which I had to pause because of the pandemic. I’m really happy to finally start this adventure again!
Right now, I’m living in Hamburg, a big city, but I’m eager to reconnect with nature. I’m looking forward to living and working in a more natural environment, away from the rush and stress that come with city life.
A little bit about myself: I’m a very social person—I love having deep Conversations or just some smallTalk and having fun with others, being together and laughing togehter always the best—but I also enjoy spending time alone and recharging by myself. I’m spontaneous, open to new experiences, and really try to enjoy every day to the fullest. Since I’ve worked in various jobs since I was 14, I’m used to working hard and staying persistent. I’m responsible and independent, and I take pride in contributing wherever and whatever I can.
I hope I will find a place where I can be with animals and/or kids and to work outside with nature and/or building something with my hands.
