Description
We are living in a homestead on a former apple orchard 2 km from the sea and 1 km from Tasman village with a shop, cafe, galleries, and golf course and close to the Great Taste Biking Trail (by car 10mins to Motueka, 30mins to Nelson). We have 2 horses and three ponies, a horse arena, 2 cats and geese, a pond next to the house and do need help mainly with the home and garden. If you want to learn English you are in the right place! We are not providing food and expect only 2 hours of help per day for accommodation.
The minimum stay is one week

close to our house you can have beautiful walks, horse rides, and bike rides to the beach, there is a stunning golf course (Tasman), a cafe, galleries, beaches and Picnic areas, and very friendly neighbours. We have a bus connection 1.5km down the road on weekdays to Mapua, Richmond, Nelson and Motueka. If you are staying with us, please ensure public transport is available for your arrival and departure if you don't have your car. We are happy to pick you up and drop you off at the Tasman bus stop. for more information go to

I also loved the garden hut I slept in and she owns a beautiful house that I was allowed to use as well :) Further she took me out to a Festival and to beaches etc and helped me organizing my Abel Tasman Walk.
