Description
Ciao raggazzi! (Hello folks!)
We invite you to a weird and challenging experience ;-)
As a family of 4 we moved to italy leaving a lot behind and also carrying a lot with us. Our boys are 14 and 12 yo and we are facing the challenges of these times in very respectful awareness - that actually made us come here.
The past years in Germany we've seen ourselves and also the two boys being strongly influenced by german media society trying quite successfully getting the kids on a track that's obviously less and less ours. Now we're in the italian countryside, we're strangers, very busy to getting along with the basics, so as language, culture, all day organization, integration...
Our benefit: PEACE.
We're living now a significant more peaceful life then ever before, and that's something.
We're still very busy getting basics on the track, so as water, shower, electricity, network. For the boys it's a huge challenge getting used to changing circumstances and they're doin a real good job. Once a week we go to a campingside nearby to have a comfortable wash ;-)
We found really nice neighbours and trying to learn from them. Most important word here is: "piano-piano" and that means very much like "slowly-slowly". Not only no use to push things - even no way to push things successfully! ;-) do what you can and hope the best. We're trying to learn this energy, loving the things that you do - doing the things that you love.
We have some things to share with you. Music, games, language, reflection, health... so a warm welcome if you feel like sharing this adventure with us for some time. Guess three weeks would be a good timescale for meeting up.
Whoever you are! Let us know what makes you want to come. We're interested in your personal input. May it be to the renovation project, the gardening disigning, and for shure helping the boys to get their feet on the ground.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We're up in the hills of the Tiber valley just one hour from Rome. Lots of stunning nature, forrests, olives, a nature bird reservation of the Tiber lake d'Alviano. A lot of activities and tipical country life of italian small town. But a lifely one with bars and few shops and festivals in summer...

Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.

Help
First of all: helping our boys 14 & 12 to get through the day! Projects and fun. It's now mostly about easy renovation projects, like cleaning stuff, painting, getting things together.
