    Description

We have a co-owned 65 acre property on South Pender Island , B.C.
There is farm infrastructure in place but we only have 3 sheep and 4 chicken roaming the land. We are not a business and anything we produce is for our own consumption.
We are interested in some help with three gardens , mowing the grass and walking dogs now and then.

I am a nurse and my husband runs a business in Victoria so we are back and forth from the island .
Our partner has her own home on the property and is there permanently. She no longer drives off the farm and needs help with walking her dogs and picking up groceries from the local store.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We are an active family with 2 grown children that love to come to Pender for visits. We are avid runners , mnt bikers , kayakers and disc golfers. the trails around are property are beautiful and back on to a federal park with lake. We are all up for any physical adventure and would love to share our knowledge of the surroundings. The island hosts a great disc golf park as well as a grocery store, pubs, wineries , library and medical clinic.
We have all had the great experience of travelling extensively and our love of different cultures is what makes this chance of hosting a workaway exciting.

Two dogs stand on mossy steps of a rustic wooden porch, surrounded by spring greenery and budding branches, basking in the sunlight and gazing attentively outside.
A rustic wooden cabin sits behind a lush field of lavender, surrounded by tall green trees and wooden posts, exuding peaceful countryside and natural beauty.
A bright sun shines over calm water, reflecting light. Wooden deck, grassy lawn, and rocky shoreline create a peaceful, scenic coastal view with trees and blue sky.
A woman wearing sunglasses smiles at the camera. She's outdoors on a sunny day, surrounded by green grass, trees, wooden fences, and distant mountains by water.
