    Description

Come stay on four acres near Cowichan Lake, BC Canada.

We are a homestead, not a business. Any skills or help are welcome. We love the park like setting of wild meadows, a salmon stream, rain forest trail, large cedar and fir trees. It is a ten minute walk along the creek trail to town. Duncan is a 20 minute drive and its about a one hour drive to Victoria, Nanaimo or Port Renfrew.

There are biking and hiking trails abound, and it is walking distance to swim in the river or lake. The accommodation options currently are tenting, a camper or a small cabin with a loft. We have extended family members and friends who visit regularly. We have a fenced garden with herbs, vegetables, fruit trees. We try to keep the grounds free from invasive plants like broom, black berries, and daphne. We are solar powered. We have lots to do on the property, in the garden and there is always a project on the go.

We have ample parking, water and electricity, and in the town there are amenities for dumping, re-fueling, and charging. The land is like a park with trees, a creek with swim hole, meadows, a small greenhouse, garden and forest.
