Description
We are a family of 5 living on a small farm in a beautiful remote valley. We have our 2 sons and another young man living with us in their own accommodation. They are 18 and 19 years of age (we seriously need a new family photo). We are very busy and always appreciate some help. We have experience as hosts and as workawayers. We are looking for someone to help with some gardening and house work. We currently have 7 cows, and 4 cats. Vegetarians and people with allergies may not be the best fit. We try to produce as much of our own food as possible. We have accommodation inside our house - 1 Queen bed and a King bed in separate rooms.
We ask that you help out around the farm/house for 20 hours per week. You are free to choose your times and do what ever you want with the rest of your time. We have a swimming pool that you are welcome to use. We are a 20 minute drive from Gympie and about 1 hour from some of the most beautiful beaches in Australia. There are plenty of tourist activities to do in the area.
We live in a sub-tropical climate. This means that for around 9 months of the year the daily temperatures are in the 30s. Please take this into account since some of the work required is outside.
We are a Christian family that holds to our values. We are happy to welcome all to our farm but ask that you respect our values. If you have any questions, I try to respond asap. -

We love learning about people and other countries. We have been trying to learn some German for a few years and would like to continue. We are a pretty relaxed, typical Aussie family and are happy to welcome others into our lives.

We are about 20 mins from town. If you don't have your own transport we will try to bring you to town when we go in if you would like. We are surrounded by other farms. It is a very beautiful area to explore.
