    Description

    ****We are looking for someone to help July onwards

    Possibility to house sit in May / June, helping with gardening, looking after the animals, relaxing, and DIY.

    We now have 4 goats, 2 sheep and geese.

    =================

    Hello :)

    We are Chris (33) and Renzo (27).

    I, Chris, bought this old hotel in the heart of Brittany, France back in 2020 as a drastic lifestyle change from the working professional workaholic I was in England.

    I went on to reduce the number of bedrooms from 24 to 7 beautiful suites, converting this huge building into our dream home, creating an open plan, modern and spacious feel. It really is a blank canvas that we are so excited to continue bringing to life.

    For the past few years I’ve been spending 6-7 months a year here and travelling, however now myself and my partner have decided to settle down here permanently.

    There’s always plenty to do, sometimes I question my sanity… haha! But it’s such a rewarding place to be. We are always looking for extra pairs of hands and great energy. I have met some truly amazing people on Workaway before and made life-long friends.

    If you want to experience the real magic of rural France, waking up to the sound of birds and animals in the distance, but still be close to stunning tourist spots like the Valley of the Saints and Huelgoat forest, yet only 12 minutes from all shops and amenities – this is the perfect place for you!

    You can easily catch the train from Carhaix-Plouguer to explore further, and if you love cycling, you are right near some legendary Tour de France routes! 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️

    We love meeting new people, sharing stories, good food and experiences. We are keen to improve our French and we can help you practice or learn English in return.

    You can stay in your own caravan/campervan right here in the grounds by the river, or we have a lovely double room with private bathroom available inside the house.

    We are very welcoming and open-minded, so whether you are male, female, a couple or solo, please get in touch! We do have a chihuahua (15) he’s getting on a bit now🐶

    We can't wait to meet you! 😊
