Description
Hi, I am Raghu and I am born and brought up in a small beautiful town in Rajasthan called Bundi. I live here with my family and I am running a Hostel for travellers from all over the world. Bundi is located around 200km south of the state capital Jaipur in the Hadoti region, southwest Rajasthan. It’s home to around 100,000 people, making it one of the smaller cities in Rajasthan.

Bundi is a captivating town of narrow lanes of Brahmin-blue houses with a temple at every turn. There are fascinating step-wells, reflective lakes, and colourful bazaars. Dominating Bundi is a fantastical palace of faded parchment cupolas and loggias rising from the hills behind the town. Though an increasingly popular traveller hang-out, Bundi attracts nothing like the tourist crowds of places such as Jaipur or Pushkar. A few places in Rajasthan retain so much of the magical atmosphere of centuries past.

*help with docorating/wall paintings - we have a few walls that are waiting for some creative painters and we can use any help with decorations to make the place look more unique :)
*interact with the tourist, show them around - we might ask you to help us in and around the hostel, show turists around or plan some tours etc.
*help with social media, promotions, design - we need help with our online presence (SEO, Instagram...) as well as web design, create a logo and such things
*take pictures - we need someone that can take pictures/videos of the hostel facilities, the rooms and the sourroundings

Accommodation
Volunteers will be accomondated in our dormitory with attached bathroom. Every bed has a power outlet for phone or laptop and a small reading light. We will provide one free meal per day. There is a common kitchen to prepare your own meals - feel free to use it! :) Nearby you will find shops and vegetable/fruit markets to buy whatever you need.
What else ...
There is a lot of things to do in Bundi. Since the city is small, pretty much everything is within walking distance. You can walk around, visit the Palace and the Fort, waterfalls, step wells and a lot of shops, restaurants and cafés. The Hostel is located very close to the bus station you will find several shops and street food places nearby.
The best way to get to Bundi is via bus, with connections to Jaipur, Jodhpur and Ajmer, as well as nearby Kota.
If you’d prefer to catch a train, your best bet is connect via the town of Kota, some 40kms away. Kota is on the main train line from Delhi to Mumbai, so getting a proper connection is much easier. It’s easy to arrange a rickshaw or transfer to Kota, which takes about 1 hour.
