    Description

    Hi there!
    I am Ana, the creator of this beautiful project that I call home, a paradise of biodiversity located in the mountains of La Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. After traveling the world for a while, I returned to Colombia to build my home and put down roots. In the process I have encountered many obstacles, however here I remain optimistic and with intact faith that if I jump the net it will appear!
    Casa is located a 20-minute walk from the main entrance of Tayrona Park. Around it, you will find snow-capped mountains, natural pools, rivers, and sea, not in vain it is the habitat of so many wild species. The access road to the house is only enabled for walking (15 minutes) or for moderately expert motorcyclists since you have to cross a river, however, we are relatively close to the main road where you can find public transportation services.
    Right now, we’re fully immersed in the construction phase of our project, a crucial step in bringing our dream to life. At this stage, we’re focusing on welcoming volunteers who can support our progress. These include:
    * Carpentry
    * Permaculture Design/Maintenance
    * General Home Maintenance
    If you think your skills align with any of these areas, we’d love to hear more about your background! We can arrange a brief chat to discuss tasks, expectations, and logistics. Once everything is set, we’ll provide you with a warm welcome guide covering what to bring, how to find us, and what your stay will look like.
    I am very excited to be able to access the incredible network of people that this platform has to offer and I"ll be honored to host this great adventure!
    Warmly,
Ana

    ¡Hola!
    Soy Ana, la creadora de este hermoso proyecto que llamo hogar, un paraíso de biodiversidad ubicado en las faldas de la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Después de viajar por el mundo durante un tiempo, decidí regresar a Colombia para construir mi hogar y echar raíces. En el proceso, me he encontrado con muchos obstáculos, pero aquí sigo, optimista y con la fe intacta de que si salto, la red aparecerá.
    Casa está ubicada a 20 minutos a pie de la entrada principal del Parque Tayrona. A su alrededor, encontrarás montañas nevadas, pozos naturales, ríos y mar; no en vano es el hábitat de tantas especies silvestres. El acceso a la casa está habilitado solo para caminar (15 minutos) o para motociclistas moderadamente expertos, ya que es necesario cruzar un río. Sin embargo, estamos relativamente cerca de la carretera principal, donde puedes encontrar servicios de transporte público.
    En este momento, estamos completamente inmersos en la fase de construcción de nuestro proyecto, un paso crucial para hacer realidad nuestro sueño. En esta etapa, estamos enfocándonos en recibir voluntarios que puedan contribuir a nuestro progreso en estos momentos. Estas incluyen:
    * Carpintería.
    * Diseño/Mantenimiento de Permacultura
    * Mantenimiento general de Vivienda
    Si crees que tus habilidades coinciden con alguna de estas áreas, ¡nos encantaría saber más sobre tu experiencia! Podemos organizar una breve charla para hablar sobre tareas, expectativas y logística. Una vez que todo esté confirmado, te proporcionaremos una guía de bienvenida con detalles sobre qué traer, cómo encontrarnos y cómo será tu estadía.

    Estoy muy emocionada de poder acceder a la increíble red de personas que esta plataforma tiene para ofrecer y estaré muy honrada de ser la anfitriona de esta gran aventura
    Con cariño,
    Ana

    Public transport is a 15-minute walk away after crossing the river on foot. In the rainy season when the river rises, there is the possibility of crossing the nearest pedestrian bridge, which is about a 25-minute walk away.

    El transporte publico esta a 15 minutos caminando luego de cruzar el rio a pie. En temporada de lluvias cuando el rio crece, hay la posibilidad de cruzar por el puente peatonal mas cercano que está alrededor de unos 25 minutos caminando.
