Description
Hola my name is Azad our farm is set within a landscape of fertility and flowing water, it has its own private waterfalls and is more than a place of cultivation, it is a space of adab, service, and remembrance
Our growing permaculture farm of 120 hectares welcomes volunteers who feel drawn to the Sufi understanding. The farm currently produces coffee, cacao, eggs, animal products, honey, various fruits , bamboo and other organic building materials, and we are continually looking for new activities to increase our levels of biodiversity and sustainability
We employ upto 5 people that specialize in different areas of farm work such as taking care of animals, taking care of plants and harvesting, operating machinery, -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
For us, hosting people is so much more than an assistance in our own projects. We really like to meet people from other countries, and every day learn new things. We would like Workawayers to feel included in our daily life rather than just being a passing volunteer.
While you are here, you will have the opportunity to live a peaceful country life in Colombia, practice your Spanish, hang out with the locals and discover more about the different farm projects. This ranges from cacao, coffee, tree planting & regenerative agriculture in the high season to animal husbandry & land restoration. If you are interested please ask us what we are doing and why.
Typically we eat, exchange stories and do a lot of talking and listen to what life is like in other places around the world. Each visitor has unique talents, ideas, and perspectives to share with us, and that is one of the aspects we love most about hosting.
We hopefully can help you learn something new, see a Colombia that you will not find in any tourist visits, and develop some real connections while doing so. What we do know is that we've been fortunate to learn a great deal from many of the folk who have remained with us, and that we hope will continue in a more collaborative manner. -
